Ceramics

During my senior year at university, I got to take a class in ceramic wheel throwing. This experience was a delightful journey of exploration, as I experimented with various forms and techniques, and was able to play with the layering of glazes.

For my final project, we were tasked to create a dinner set. Inspired by my personal struggle with Misophonia, a condition that significantly impacts my experience during mealtimes with others, I knew I wanted to create something meaningful and expressive of this disorder. This project encapsulated my ability to transform personal experiences into tangible art, a skill I continue to hone and cherish as I progress in my artistic journey.
